76ers spotted the Celtics minus Embiid and Maxey. And Melton fouled out.

Still think 76ers are legit and will be a thorn to our side. Legit with Nick Nurse now.

After a couple of hours, I actually feel better about this game.  Missing KP, JT got thrown out, down at the end of 3.  But those last 6 minutes after Brown came back in were good.  Al playing like a maniac, Dwhite playing smart, JB not forcing anything, but scoring to help us extend the lead, and was super disruptive on def.  PP was good down the stretch after he came back in for Luke subbing him out.  (Dumb move by Joe) 

So there are probably some positive things to take from this.  We won a game down the stretch where we played pretty poorly overall, where KP was out, and JT got ejected.  It was ugly to watch though.

I do want to see what they were doing wrong that everyone was getting really upset about though, it must have been really bad...so in a way it's fantastic to come out with a win despite it all.

Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla said he didn't have a problem with Tatum showing some fight.

“I actually like it,” Mazzulla said. “I think some of that is important. Obviously, you don’t want it to get in the way of winning. But I think that type of passion and caring, I’d err on the side of I’d rather see that than nothing at all.”

Funny thing, I watched those first 3 quarters (until the JT ejection) and then turned it off in disgust. You will see some pretty awful basketball.

How does that mean anything when Embiid and Maxey missed the whole game?  Embiid and Maxey are more essential to the Sixers than Tatum and KP are for the Celts.  Tatum at least played 27 minutes. 

Take away the top 2 players from every team in the league.  Do the Celts still having White, Holiday, Brown and Horford not have an even bigger advantage against the other teams?

I’m not as down on Kornet as everyone else here, but he was pretty useless last night.  Does he have tiny hands or something?  He seems to like to slap at the ball instead of grabbing it.
