Celtics are just lazy. Play when they want to. Not ready mentally to win a title

Tatum and brown just loafing on defense. Standing around.

So predictable. Knew this would happen tonight. It’s who the Celtics are.

It starts and ends with those two guys. This is who their teams have been since they came into the league.

This is where Joe should bench these soft clowns and put in guys who will play hard.

All that talk from tatum about playing hard in Charlotte on a Monday looks to be as fake as Giannis' nice guy act.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

this game turned into the trap game that we discussed.
play some freaking def Celtics.  We are not engaged enough in this game.

It's again - nobody holds them accountable, particularly the stars. Brad was soft on them and let them develop bad habits under him.

Ime is the only that did. THey never really had these games where they'd lose focus and intensity. Cough up big leads and choke late in the game? Absolutely. But they were playing hard and focused 99% of the time, and that's because Ime wasn't afraid to call them out on their non-sense, even going overboard at times.

They need more of that rather than this player's coach crap. God, I hate that we missed out on Nurse.

76ers have 10 steals in one half.   We are playing soft.

Nurse employing a brilliant strategy defensively. Just having them be uber aggressive swiping at the ball and betting on the calls going their way and the turnover-prone nature of the C's stars to rear its ugly head. He knows they don't have the talent to win otherwise.

Offensively, they are definitely hitting shots and playing way over their head, but they're definitely out-working us.

So if we're playing as bad as everyone's comments suggest and the Sixers are playing a blinder and we're down by 3...does that mean we just need to play a little better in the 2nd half and we should win? From the comments I thought we would be down by 20  :police:

Unfortunately Boston just plays down to their opponent. Missed free throws, turnovers, dumb rotations, no effort, ymca defense against a team literally playing with dudes who are guys that washed up.

Melton, Beverly, Morris, Covington…come on man

Idc about this teams record, giving up 72 in a half to the Sixers jv squad? Absolutely brutal. All the same problems still exist for this core and you can’t convince me otherwise.

the only reason we aren't down 10 or something is we shot out of our minds from 3 in the 1st quarter.  We scored 44 points in the 1st, mostly from being red hot from 3.  Once we stopped being hot, then we don't make adjustments.   Our def in the 1st half was really poor.

At least Al and D White are playing to win.  Neither with a turnover.

PatBev has more points than JT and JB at the half. That’s crazy.
