I should be used to it, but honestly it’s like people here have never been through an NBA season. Terrible shooting this half - just terrible. It means zero in terms of telling us what this team will be this year.  Two road losses v. very good teams. No conclusions from me - they might be ‘OK’ as someone said above or they might be a contender. Let’s see what happens next time v. Philly.

People always have trouble dealing with a loss  :police:

As terrible as tomight has been it’s just one game. Im waiting till end of December before passing judgment in the season. I’m happy to pass judgment on tonight’s effort though

It's not the losses it's the HOW.

If you seriously don't see the issue, then I hope you do t get shocked if they don't win it all despite having loads of talent.

This team shouldn't struggle on offense like this. It's more of the same garbage as last year.  I'd hoped Joe was going to improve even a little, but it's clear he's still over his head.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Or maybe it’s not a loss yet, they’re making one last run and Philly are self destructing

I don't know what Tatum's deal is tonight, but he's been passive all night.

What’s the surprise? His entire career is littered with performances like this including in the playoffs

I mean, he literally hasn't outside of a few games here and there like every player does, but go on.

I turned the game off before this run. Out of respect, I won't turn it back on.

Embiid is a great regular season player.

After the easy start, we look like a G-league level team.

If Joe fails to get the most out of this team he definitely needs to be fired this offseason.  There's no reason a team that is this stacked should look this awful.

Stacked with what exactly? The jays, porzingis who’s been in the league 8 seasons and never won and 2 smaller guards? That’s literally it

Wait what?  A 1st team all-NBA player, a 2nd team all-NBA player, a player that is All-Star caliber and just had his best season before we acquired him, and two of the most versatile guards in the entire league?  That's stacked.

But it's not just the losses; it's how we're losing them. Between the Minny game and tonight, several of our awful habits from last year are creeping back up.

Poor end of game decision-making (from players and coaching) cost us the game in Minny, and we have no identifiable offense when our threes aren't falling tonight. These were the two biggest issues we had last year, and even with a substantially better roster, we're still suffering from these issues.

That's what we're freaking out about.

That was a clutch shot by Embiid, but man why doesn't he just take it down low?
The 20 foot fade away isn't really the best shot that they can get.
