Said this in another thread but its going to be interesting what picks exactly Boston got. DET doesn't have their 24' or 26' seconds but has what projects to be Washingtons 24' and 25' seconds as well as three extra seconds in 26'/27' from various teams. SAC has all its own seconds, 24' and 28' DAL Second and 25' POR second to trade. ATL doesn't have really any of its own seconds to trade but has some farther out from GSW and LAC.
My hope would be the c's got the 24' WAS second from detroit. That could easily be pick 31 in next years draft.
From Masslive.com article,
Here’s the full list of draft picks the Celtics acquired on Thursday night
Dallas’ 2024 second round pick
The best of Detroit’s, Golden State’s, or Washington’s 2025 second round pick
The best of Minnesota’s, New Orleans’s, New York’s, or Portland’s 2026 second round pick
Atlanta’s 2027 second round pick
‘25 and ‘26 probably decent picks.
I mean all 4 have SOME upside. Dallas was struggling to be a play in team last year, they haven't exactly filled out that roster so far. The west is really good, wouldn't SHOCK me if that like pick 45 or something. Atlanta in 27' who the hell knows. That team is going to get expensive; they could be back in a rebuild by then.
The important thing is the c's have refilled the asset chest. 8 firsts and 7 seconds (some of them pretty good ones) over the next 7 seasons. That gives them a lot of flexibility whether its targeting guys in the draft, getting off money with pick sweeteners, or making a big all in trade.
