The Wizards mainly want picks or expiring contracts so they have no interest in Brogdon (or Smart or White). Give them a future 1st and get this done. We didn't miss the 1st rounder we moved for White.

Yeah tbh I don’t see why Washington and Boston can’t just work out a deal now just between the two sides. Washington can flip Brogdon later on anyways.

Brogdon + PP + Muscala + Future 2nds (or one FRP)

Or Brogdon + Gallinari + the picks

Sounds like Washington and Boston might still work out a trade. Maybe find another 3rd team somewhere.
Brogdon doesn't have much of a market because of his contract and what he provides at that dollar figure.

Dallas for Bertans and McGee makes some sense, but they don't have the draft picks to trade to the Wizards.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

KP for the equivalent of Brogdon, Gallo, and Williams was risky, but had upside

Adding Smart or a #1 would just be foolish.

What if its Galo, Brogdon and the #35 pick? Maybe the Wiz would rather have expiring Morris and #30 than Brogdon and #35 but its not dramatically different value unless Brogdon's medicals are BAD.

Yeah, throw in some seconds or something, I am sure a team would want Malcom once FA settles

If FVV is leaving Toronto, maybe redirect Brogdon there?

Why is everyone, and Twitter, acting like this is a done deal. It’s not official yet, right?

When the pieces being traded are so detailed and listed by multiple credible sources, it usually means the deal is essentially done.
You were saying ....  :-[

Well, "usually" doesn't mean always.  Sounds like the Clips are risk averse.

Worst case is Brogdan has a significant injury and will miss extended time next season and the Cs are stuck with him and that contract unable to add any type of pieces to replace him....

I do find it funny that a team which has Kawhi and George is now suddenly concerned about health  :P

Being saddled with a gimpy Brogdan not able to play would cripple the Celtics and their ability to make the necessary changes needed.

The Celtics didn’t want to wait any deeper into Wednesday night on completion of the proposed three-way trade and pivoted away from including the Clippers in the deal, sources tell ESPN. Wizards and Celtics are working on revised scenarios now.

well that may be why they are concerned with health.  They need healthy players around those 2 unhealthy players.

Well, that may also be the reason they’re so skeptical. Can only have so many injury prone players on the same team.
