Good to see JB getting some scoring going, too. Just continue to play Smart and not force possessions, and we'll be good.

Tatum does a great job not forcing the 2 for 1 there, all to take a terrible pull up three.

Still, can't complain too much. Should be up a bit more, but 17 is a good lead at halftime. Need to just make sure to come out with the same energy and expect Miami's best with one more push from them.

If we can just counter the next Heat run, think the game is ours

The C's have been excellent getting their hands on the ball on defense. Brown and Tatum in particular have caused a bunch of deflections this game. This is more like last years defense where ball pressure was consistently great. One way to counter a hot shooting team is force turnovers, more turnovers means fewer shots and less Rythm for shooters.

We have seen  a different Joe the last 2 games who has been quick to call timeouts. If only he had done this much much earlier.

So much positive in that half -- actually the last 4 quarters.   I hope they realize what happens when they play defense and move the ball on offense.  Can't feel comfortable with a 17 point lead.  Keep the intensity.

Joe's called some well-placed TOs tonight.  Keep it up.

Please don’t jinx this Chuck! He’s already talking about game 6 in the halftime show.

Yep. Wonder if all the pressure on him from the 0-3 start and getting outcoached so badly by Spo finally got him away from his stubborn ways and awful hands off philosophy and doing more to actively manage the game.

It's just not realistic strategy with this team.

Feel great about how they finished that Q2. It was looking like Miami would hold the deficit to 10-13pts. That is a dangerous area. One quick run and most of that lead would be gone.

But Boston pushed it back up to 17-20pts. Not a knockout blow but a good knock back to MIA's confidence / self-belief of making a comeback in the 2nd half.

MIA have looked rattled at times. The turnovers. Several bad possessions. Bam has been awful. Jimmy not getting mismatches as easily and isn't scoring well. Their bench has more than half of their points. Their starters just aren't bringing it.
