They have to hand out shirts to give Miami "Fans" seem to have some spirit!

If we play with composure in the 2nd half we win. Our own panic is our worst enemy. When your mind is working calmly and efficiently. you keep your man in front of you. The see the opening to pass when a teammate cuts. You double team at the right time.

You make the other team uncomfortable with your resolve and strong decision making.

This is all mental.

Let's stop pressuring ourselves and just PLAY

Our worst enemy tonight is the refs!

Amazed we down 15

3rd quarter is the season fellas

We need to limit this offensive inept Heat team (regular season) to like 18 points and we can get back into this game

I am done with Hofford for this game.
Showing his age.  Bring the big Kornet.  He can shoot, set some picks, and even block some shots

Turning point was in the 1st quarter where Jaylen was clearly fouled on his drive, but didn't get the call, and the Heat turned that into a fast break 3 by Strus. It turned what would have been a tie game into a 5 point lead for the Heat and they haven't looked back.

Also, getting absolutely nothing out of Brogdon when he is supposed to be our rock-solid, calming influence really hurt.

And, then, yeah, Jaylen going 2019 2nd round Kyrie certainly isn't helping.

When Lowery grabbed his leg or the one after the leg grab? Hard to keep track of all the noncalls!

Haha - I know, right? Jaylen would have had two FTs to tie it at 18, but instead got a 3 to go up 21-16. They just completely flatlined after that.

It also absolutely ruined Jaylen Brown this game. He wasn't great, but he was doing well on those mid-range turnarounds. After that, he completely lost his mind and started getting reckless on offense while not giving a crap on defense.

Lol at the TNT crew panicking over Barkley ripping the refs. They know they will get slapped by the league behind the scenes. Kenny looked scared.

Cannot run it back with this roster or coaching staff. Just can’t do it
I think the roster was carrying the coaching staff….until we faced a well coached team

That's exactly what has been happening all year.

All the Joe apologists kept pointing to the record like that proved their point that Joe was fine, even when it was clear that we were winning in spite of him not because of him. That's no more evident than this series when a significantly less talented team is stomping us due to our lack of preparation, poor gameplan, and just lack of mental toughness.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

JB insistent on shooting more 3s and giving them the last shot.
That’s because he doesn’t possess the handles to drive to the basket against Miami’s team defense

Same as last championship vs GS

Dribbling through a zone is a fool’s errand to begin with.  You beat a zone with cuts and player movement, not hero drives.

These aren’t pups anymore.  If they still don’t know how to identify and attack a defense with all of their playoff experience, then what are we doing here?  Mazzulla is failing but we also need to take a hard look at which of these players can actually help us get it done.

No it’s not. Refs aren’t good but Boston is so mentally soft they can’t handle any adversity.

They have no coaching

Their best players turn it over at will

Heat play harder and smarter

Miami have 3 players in double digits. None of them are Jimmy or Bam. We are getting burned by D Robinson, G Vincent and C Martin.

Then Jimmy with 9, Bam with 7. Strus and Love with 5 each. 4 for Lowry. Team effort. Everyone is going for Miami.

Jaylen 5-13 FG and 3 turnovers for 10pts. 16 possessions to get 10 points.

Tatum isn't much better. 4-11 FG with 2 turnovers for 9pts. 13 possessions for 9 points. Not as bad as Jaylen but still bad.

Our 3rd scorer, Brogdon, is 0-4 FGA. 0 points.

The three players have a combined total of 4 assists. Not scoring. Not creating. Bad offense.

It's the same thing as the last two games, though. Tatum seemed primed and ready to go and the team is just not rallying around him. Tatum forced a couple of shots and got fouled on a couple more, but 10 rebounds and 2 steals shows he is actually putting in the effort.

I have no idea what happened to Jaylen, Brogdon, and Smart, but it is not going well.

Hey, there you go!

Well done G Will. Double teamed Jimmy when he tried to iso and forced him into an awful shot and miss. Double team the iso.

Twice. Both times G Will.

Good thing Joe made that adjustment after the 1st 2 games.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

They are allowed to play. This is one of the worst officiated games I've seen and I've seen some horror shows!
