I’m talking with (and teasing) my good Lakers friends, but it’s pretty clear Lebron can’t do it all now. He was awful today and was inconsistent in Game 1 as well. Blown layups, blown dunk, poor turnovers and lazy 3s. He can’t drive and attack all game due to his age which is understandable, but LAL now has some real pressure

Huge to be up 2-0. Hope they can take a 3-0 lead next game.

Got laughed at for picking Denver to make the Finals before the playoffs. Series isn’t over BUT still feeling good about it now

Lakers had a ton of momentum today and still choked

Lakers are on the ropes now down 0-2. I don't see them beating Denver 4 out of 5 games.

The Nuggets tonight had a lot of the same issues the Celtics have had down the stretch. Malone vs Mazzulla would be an even battle imo if the Celtics can get there.

Yeah Lebron has a ton of over enthusiastic fans (including at least one famous one in this forum), but his drop off is undeniable. He is repeatedly shooting threes in the 4th and end of games cause his legs are dead. The worst part for him is that both and Ham are in denial about his age and keep trying to play him 40+ minutes and he is awful at the end because of it.

Lakers free throws will increase in LA. Would love to see Denver get one there. Nuggets lost two straight in Phoenix though so  ???

Lakers shot 8 more tonight (and it was actually 14 before the late game intentional fouls). How much more do you expect them to get with Murray driving and jokic operating deep In the post?

When you shoot 42 fts in a playoff game is there really a ceiling?

I mean I think the league is a lot tighter on that kind of stuff now that there are replays of everything from every angle, challenges and they are in bed with sports betting companies for billions of dollars. The lakers actually got a really favorable whistle in the first half, just don’t think we see things as egregious as even 15 years ago today.

Playing at high Altitude should be good advantage for Denver and deeper they go, the more tired the opponents could be in Denver. I live in Colorado and would love chance to see a finals game but only if we get there.

Jokic didn’t score a single point in the 4th and DEN outscored them 32-24. Murray was sensational and carried them late

Murray 23pts in Q4. I believe 7 of those points came late off of FTs to ice the game as LAL fouled to stall the clock. So 16pts before that.

Murray was awesome in the 4th.  I didn't think he had it in him.
