74 points given up in one half ?

Beyond ridiculous.
Celts should be embarrassed, though I'm sure Joe is in the halftime locker room telling them to shoot more 3's.

Wow. Embiid out for Game 4 with a sprained knee. Could be huge and stretch that series out.

They say there's optimism that he can be back early next week, but I don't see how that's possible with an actual sprained knee. Aren't those types of injuries one to two weeks bare minimum, even for low level sprains? And especially for a freaking behemoth like Embiid? Don't think it'd be smart for someone of his size to go out there on a wobbly knee without being 100%.

Eh. Hawks played the best they have in the series and it's just a 7 point ball game.

I like our chances.

Good way to look at it.

hot takes from first half:
- defense is a sieve.  none of our guards are stopping Atlanta from driving into the lane at will.  Smart, White, Brown and Brogdon.  defense has been bad.
- not enough driving on offense and when they have, they're getting they're dribble picked off too easily.
- Tatum and Brown have been way too invisible on offense except when they've decided to play iso and not pass.
- no more having Tatum walk the ball up the court.

I think Kawhi is already ruled out for Game 4 as well with a sprained knee.

My gut feeling is the Sixers know they can beat BKN without Embiid and are just making sure he's fully ready to go next week for Round 2 against BOS/ATL. He looked iffy yesterday and was grimacing at times

I know it's playoffs, but sprained knees/ankles aren't a minor thing. They can linger too, just like hamstrings

Whatever they're doing with Al on the PnRs is not working. He is way to far back and giving up way too much space to shooters.

Already much better defensive intensity, at least.

5-point game!

We're already seeing what happens when we're just a little better on defense. Meanwhile, the Hawks defense is always garbage, we should still be able to score all night

It really feels like the Hawks play better when Young is on the bench lol. Even tonight, he only has 10 points while the others are scorching around him
