Smart would be so much better if he would just stick with solid fundamental basketball.
He is too prone to trying to make the highlight assist or with flopping all over the court.
Sit him and start Brogdon and White.

Nice win but- need to rebound better, need to know when to halt a run (coaching issue), and need to know how to go deeper in your rotations esp when it's already a blowout late in the 4th quarter.

JB’s handle is def affected by that cut. His shooting is still good, though. 7-14 from the field, 2-4 from the field.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

So...2 games into the playoffs you suggest upending the guard rotation? 2 solid wins and its time to rearrange to something we havent done all year?

Brogdon didn’t even smile after the half court shot.

Brogdon and White professional and heads in the game from start to finish.   Smart and the Jays get loose, cocky, sloppy.

There’s always a risk with pulling starters when it’s a 15 point lead though, teams can put points on very quickly and when you lose momentum it’s hard to get it back. I think people are being way too harsh calling for subs. If Joe had done a full on 5 man sub and Atlanta pulled to within 8 points nd required the starters to come back everyone would be criticizing him. It’s the playoffs they would have ramped up their intensity for this time of the year I thmk
