AD's last five games

Quote
His last 5 games in terms of scoring:
31 points on 11-24 shooting
12 points on 4-13 shooting
31 points on 14-23 shooting
16 points on 6-9 shooting
30 points on 11-19 shooting

AD has been playing great D and doing great work on the boards but his scoring is still up and down like a yo-yo.

Not sure what conclusion you want us to draw from this. In those 5 playoff games, Davis has averaged 24.5 pts, 16.8 rebs, and 3.6 blocks.  He is +47 overall and his team is 4-1.

One game you note he was 4-13 for 12 pts, an off game statistically but the Lakers won the game.  The other low scoring game he was 6-9 for 16 points, also a win.  I am guessing he was doubled a lot if he only got 9 shots.

There are a number of people who seem to want to argue that Davis isn't that good.  I think he is still a dominant big.  I don't know if he is top 10 or top 15 or what, but when healthy, he is very good.  His problem is durability.  I am not sure he will hold up for a full playoff run.  He has held up so far and the Lakers are winning.  Connecting those dots is not that hard to do.

That is scoring is inconsistent.

When you're doing a pretty good Bill Russell impersonation on defence, I think they can live with that. Russell has also been inconsistent, with his last 5 being 19, 31, 11, 17, 17

The Western conference really needs to get bigger, or at least have competent big men.

I feel like every series with LAL has a mismatch where AD just owns the other team's frontcourt. I know Grizzlies were missing Adams/Clarke, but still... even next round IF they face Phoenix, AD will own Ayton. Jokic is the only guy who could probably give him fits. I thought SAC could as well with Sabonis/Len and others but idk, Sabonis wasn't that great against the Warriors

Well looney not playing or being extremely limited is crazy. He is their third most important player in this matchup cause they are already undersized and draymond is their only true frontcourt player. Davis should foul him out.

JayMychal Green has been terrible for GSW this season. Big test for him and GSW.

I don't like DiVincenzo taking quick 3s / long 3s.

He is a solid shooter but not a great shooter. Take wide open 3s. Not difficult 3s.

Shaqadile Dundee. Love that.

GSW have been unconvincing. Too perimeter orientated. They need some slashing and some more cutting to balance out their halfcourt offense. They need to get out in transition more too. Wiggins needs to be more of a threat attacking the rim. I still wonder about Kuminga in this matchup. I think they need his directness in attacking the basket.

Is Davis just all mental? Like how does he go from dominant to invisible every other game

Lol there’s a ton of Lakers fans at this game

Goes to show Golden State is full of bandwagoners (or the rich). Oracle Arena was much louder too

Davis with two points and 4 shots approaching half. What is he terrified of here?

Yeah it’s crazy.

For Game 3, cheapest are like $500. Though it’s Saturday night on ABC at Crypto Arena which explains it

I don't get it. Just appears to not want it every night.

Warriors ought to capitalize on this then.
