Current: Jrue Holiday

All-time:  Charles Barkley

I've loved Jrue since the night he was drafted; I was at MSG on assignment for CelticsBlog.  He just had so much confidence.  He went to the Sixers, and I was living in South Jersey at the time, right outside of Philly.  He plays the game the right way, focused on defense first.  It's awesome to see him get the recognition he deserves in Milwaukee.  I wish it wasn't with a team we're competing with, though.  The Sixers are in a good spot now, but I think they robbed the world of seeing a decade of Jrue and Andre Iguodala together.

Current: Kawhi Leonard

All Time: Kareem Abdul Jabar

Current was not very difficult, Kawhi plays the truest form of offensive basketball (3's, Midranges, isos, dunks) I've seen in my 16 years following the league. Unfortunately he's fallen off as a defender but he used to be the best in the modern era and in general I just like how he approaches the game and the lifestyle, stone faced killer.
Runner Ups: Nikola Jokic, Damian Lillard

All time was far more difficult since my first 3 answers would all be Celtics (KG, McHales, Cowens) but if I had to choose a non Celtic I am going with Kareem. Admittedly, I might not liked him as much if I was alive when he was acting petulant to the media but his game speaks for itself. The skyhook was unstoppable and he managed to be a dominant post player on one of the up and down offenses that the world has ever seen. In retirement, I might not always agree with his findings but they are typically thoughtful and well supported.
Runner Ups: Tim Duncan, Andrei Kirilenko, Shawn Kemp

Current: Jokic. It's hard for me not to get excited about creative passing, and he's one of (if not the) best passing big men of the last 20 years. Guy is just a joy to watch.

All-Time on the court is harder, and if we're sticking to one player it's even harder as it tends to be something of a revolving door, but as Chuck's already been mentioned I'll go with Dennis Rodman.

If I'm making an all-time team of binkies, it would be an odd-fitting one:

C: DeMarcus Cousins
F: Tim Duncan
F: Charles Barkley
G: Andre Iguodala
G: Jrue Holiday

Giannis. I know he is our main rival, but he seems like a good dude, really developed his game, he has an excellent backstop, and he is just awesome on both ends of the floor.

Do you like Giannis more than Lebron?

of course.  I like Lebron and respect his game, but I like Giannis more.

Kawhi. He’s got an old school feel to his game and plays hard on both ends. That season when he won in Toronto was special to watch. Just dominant.

Wouldn’t call them my favorite, but Zion and Morant are must watch TV. They are just on a different level athletically.

Used to be a lot of non-Celtics players that I enjoyed watching: KG and Ray(before they came to Boston) Duncan, Iverson, Kobe, Carter, TMAC, SHAQ, Nash, Kidd, Dirk, Peja, Steve Frances, Jayson Williams, Baron Davis. Now, not so much.

Generally speaking, I'm a sucker for high-BBIQ players.

current: Giannis, Jokic, Luka, Haliburton
all-time: Magic, Larry, Russ, Arvydas Sabonis, Manu

If we include non-NBA players, my binky is Charis Giannopoulos, aka the greek Gigi Datome (former Celtic).

Even Datome's mother once mistook Giannopoulos for her son. ;D Their games are fairly similar as well, although Datome is clearly better. Not a high-BBIQ player, but he was playing for my local team and he seems like an interesting/knowledgeable guy off the court.
