The more I watch the Celtics play the bucks the more I feel it’s just a horrendous match up for the bucks

Hey @angryguy, I'm actually curious but how is it at Fiserv Forum? I've heard great things about the arena. Are the concessions good too lol

My favorite moment so far?
When Brogdon smoked Jrue on a drive in the 2nd quarter.

The attacking Brogdon has been one of my favorite things from this season.

Games like this make me wonder if they really are coasting.

Like I 100% agree, they should play hard every night and can't be blowing games against Washington. But  you see when the team is engaged, hustling and playing defense too that they look unstoppable. Just like against a great Kings team on the road last week, now MIL tonight.
there's a valid point here but this is also a night when they aren't bricking 3's (for the most part).  they're still a live by the 3, die by the 3 team.

good point and Milwaukee can't throw it in the ocean.

If the Cs maintain the blowout I’m taking nothing from this game other than glad they didn’t lose ground for the 2 seed.  So far an off game for the Bucks on 2nd night of b2b.  Celts have been impressive. Got to finish this and show they can get to this level and maintain it when the playoffs start.   I’ll be psyched when I see that. But first they need to finish this.

Having missed the first half, it looks like a classic story of one team making its 3's and the other is missing them.  I haven't looked at the team stats recently but my understanding is that Milwaukee actually isn't a very good 3 point shooting team.  It's going to be interesting how that comes into play in the playoffs, particularly against the C's if we match up.  I still think Milwaukee beats all of the other teams in the East.

C's only have 3 turnovers.  That's huge against a team that is as big and physical as Milwaukee.

Yeah that's completely fair.

It does feel like though our guys can score pretty easily on MIL, particularly Tatum and Brown. Holiday's their only elite wing defender but he can't guard everyone. I love our bench more than theirs too

Love when they play like this. Not over-relying on the three but varying the offense with paint penetration and great player and ball movement.

When playing like this we're nearly unbeatable. BUT - we have, have, have to come out with the same energy. Milwaukee will make a run at some point, and we have to be prepared for it.

We do play Utah tomorrow night, so we need to keep this lead at 25+ and hopefully be able to rest most of our guys in the 4th

Well, idk, I feel like we do well against Milwaukee this season. Christmas game we slaughtered them. The second meeting, we lost in OT in Milwaukee without some of our key guys; we had no business playing that close in that game. Tonight, so far, we're up 75-49 at Fiserv.

I won't be surprised if they blow this game like how they always do though. But as someone mentioned, this team is a live by the 3 and die by the 3 team.

tp for a recap.

Brown started the game off by attacking the rim and nailing 3s.  Smart and JB are guarding Giannis pretty well, forcing outside shots.  Tatum then got hot.  Celtics have just been moving, attacking, back door cuts and out energy-ing the bucks.  Brogdon is attacking the rim and just overwhelming whomever is guarding him.  Bucks look like they are running in mud, maybe from the back to back.  And Timelord has had a huge impact from hustle plays, rebounds, being aggressive as well.
Oh and Al is hitting his 3s too.

16 assists and only 3 turnovers...working tonight with shooting 3s at 52%

True. They should've won against the Wizards then this game would mean a lot. But who knows, maybe the Bucks might also go on a losing skid too. But the C's need to maintain their lead...like win the rest of the way.

That's being kind of generous. We legit were missing 4 starters, and Timelord only played like 10 minutes total IIRC due to minutes restriction. MIL basically had everyone meanwhile
