We don't have a true leader in our team who is hungry for a win any time. Tatum and Brown are not leaders, they are just skilled players who need to be motivated. The closest one to being a leader is actually Pritchard.
we don't have anyone that hates losing to the point where they play to win from the start of a game against every team.

exactly.  for as good as Tatum is, he is no Alpha.

Ime would've called the starters out after this lackluster effort and held them accountable. What are the odds that Joe will even have anything negative to say at all, besides, of course, a wish we would've shot more threes?

As Roy said earlier, it's pretty clear why this team's character is so poor compared to last year and can't bring consistent effort every night, and it starts at the top - no accountability or discipline. Just Charmin-level softness.

Team is sure missing Ime message and fire . He use to have em ready and get in their face if needed.  Mazz may not have that in him.

I haven't been able to watch the last 3 games due to nonsense at work.  Glad I missed this one though.  Blown out by the Wizards?

This group needs a better authority figure coach .  Somebody to,pull them together and make em focus as a TEAM again.

You should be very glad.  Zero effort in taking the game seriously by our starters.  The most painful game to watch this year.

yeah that was bad.  we seem to always make some schmuck look like MJ when we sleepwalking through games like this.

Some guy named Deny Avdija looked like Michael Jordan against us?

Get routed by the Wizards? Sounds like the last 3 wins were a fluke then.

Wasn’t able to watch.

How did WAS score their points?  Looking at the box score, it doesn’t look like they were particularly hot from three.

Does anyone *really* enjoy/like this team more than last year's team?

While not as offensively talented, they were a much more likable and formidable team, and they were almost always engaged and played hard. And their defense was super reliable and kept them in each game, where if we don't shoot a high clip this year we can't win.

We can't even string four good effort games together at this point in the season.

There's nothing to enjoy/like this team this year. Last year's team was better because there was more effort. Last year was more intense. Our struggles were in the beginning of the season and they flipped the switch after the JB "the energy is about to shift" tweet. Swept the KD Nets. Down 3-2 against the Giannis Bucks and comeback to win in 7 games. Traded wins with Miami and took them out in Game 7 in Miami. Yeah, we lost to the Warriors but that run was fun.

This year? It's like you know this team is about to get clapped by lesser teams because they just don't show up or they're lost or there's no control whatsoever. Definitely the changing of the coach and giving that title to the coach is a problem first and foremost.
