Does anyone seriously have ANY confidence whatsoever in this coaching staff? I have zero confidence of a long playoff run, because we're just going to get coached circles around.

While obviously there were other issues all ngiht long, Joe just gave that game away the last three offensive possessions:

- called no play and expected Tatum to just iso us a good look.

- then called what appears to be our only end game play now with Tatum in the backcourt, and it ends with a Tatum pull up three.

- then whatever the heck that last play was.

Just another atrocious showing from Joe. And that doesn't even consider the non-sense about insisting on keeping freaking Kornet out there when he was getting abused all fourth long.

Hello third seed!  >:(

Too bad Staudemire left for GTech as well. Maybe we should have hired him instead of Mazzulla

At least as the three seed they might get the nets.

Don't even know if they can beat the Nets. This team giving shades of Kyrie's last year with the C's or Celtics/Heat 2020 ECF where they just lost all their mojo.

Is it the coaches fault that Tatum went 4-12 from the field and only had 15pts? Asking for a friend.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

We can nitpick a lot of things but having Kornet in the closing lineup instead of Muscala was dumb given how Muscala looked and was actually grabbing boards

Was my biggest complaint about the 4th.  Muscala was grabbing rebounds in traffic.  Not necessarily all that time against Utah's trees, but he was helping a lot.  Kornet on the other hand was just straight up getting abused.

Every year this core has expectations this happens. You can already see how the playoffs are going to go. A mediocre rookie coach and team full of guys that still aren’t mentally tough enough.

Derrick White….zero minutes in the fourth in a game Smart didn’t play in. What are we doing here?

White played zero minutes in the 4th quarter. Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. is this coaching staff doing?

Back to wanting Joe fired.

I think the ball was supposed to go back to JT or JB. But Grant decided to go in and hope for at least a foul. He was feeling it tonight. If he broke the play that was called then I have a feeling he’ll be back in Joe’s doghouse. That was a bad decision by Grant.

Wow I didn’t realize that. So dumb

Also everyone knows Utah is a tall team. Maybe we were better off having Horford sit yesterday and play today? Their decisions on these kind of things are never consistent

Even when we had the best record in the NBA mid-season I among many others still had significant doubts about Joe's coaching ability.  Those doubts are stronger than ever.

Right there with you, buddy.

Of course, the response was always: "You're overreacting. How is Joe doing a bad job when we're the best team in the NBA?" That excuse doesn't work anymore.

Yeah. I mean, I can rationalize it when Smart and Brogdon are playing, but with Smart out, how do you not use White down the stretch?

Kornet just watched THT on that play where Utah got the lead. I mean he didn’t even challenge him. It was an open lay up.

What was that?? Really go up against 3 guys?

I think the play was for him to pass it to Tatum but he decided to go for the basket because Utah defended the jays and the only one who helped came off Hauser in the corner. He could have passed it to Hauser but he made a decision to go for the rim
