GWILL THIS IS YOUR FAULT

Nope. It’s all Joes fault. He should have told Grant to concentrate before he went to the line. If he only did that the C’s would have won.

It's hilarious that you continue in your Joe apologism, even after he continues to admit mistakes down the stretches of losses and even after a game tonight where he actually did good with his timeouts and it greatly impacted the game. Insane.

Do you seriously not see the problem with Joe being invisible in OT tonight? Did you see any discernible plays or sets out there to get good looks, or did you just see JB iso'ing each time down the floor trying to make homerun plays?

it was clear that jb was complete trash late in the game but joe allowed him to continue jacking horrific shots. a professional coach would have called plays for brogdon, as he was our best player tonight. joe is clueless and allows the “stars” to do what they want, regardless of outcome. joe must go.

I agree partially, but JB was completely gassed in overtime from last night.  He played really really great for most of the game.  It would help if we would let Brog and DWhite initiate offense in those settings at times, just to put JB in his natural position off the ball.

Lot of people whining and moaning after our team, on the second night of a back to back after going to double OT the night before and traveling to a road game, without 3 of our starters including our best player, came within a free throw of beating one of the best teams in the East on the road. Give these guys credit. They played hard and they played a great game.

Agreed.  I'm not mad about the loss.  Frustrating way to lose the game for sure, but I think most of us expected a loss after coming off a 2OT game and then having to fly out to the mistake by the lake and play on a B2B.

i don’t think the frustration was myopically about tonight’s game. there’s a clear trend with this team that goes back to the beginning of the calendar year. but hey, if you guys are cool with mediocrity, good for you.

Actually we were playing the right way, high pace and the shots were falling (except Smart).

Then some guys started to play iso and hero ball, others followed, then even we still had a chance in the last seconds.

Should have traded grant at the deadline. Guy is just an albatross. As is smart on offense.

Only good thing about finishing third will be playing the 6 seeded nets and not the 7 seeded Heat.

Heat would turn the series into a slog and Boston just built for that

Would have been such an awesome statement win. Instead more of the same. Choking down the stretch, making dumb decisions and plays late. Not sure why guys like GWill, Kornet and Smart get so much playing time in these moments compared to some of the other options too.

Kornet was huge tonight, and I don't think he played in the last few minutes or OT save for rebound situations. I think you're mixing him up with Muscala.

He got quite a few offensive boards, but he gave up a ton of defensive boards on the other end, several that led to second chance points.

He also hemorrhages points with his amoeba like mobility and blew several bunnies at the rim despite being 7' 2".
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

thing is, one FT by Grant and we end the night on a high note, thrilled with a win with a depleted roster tonight against the #4 team at full strength on the road.  however, Grant choked that away.

he plays a lot smaller than his height around the rim on offense

This team is so unlikeable right now its ridiculous. I borderline hate watching the games lately due to the lack of effort and just stupid decision making. Coach has no clue when it comes to rotations and just an overall feel of who should be in the game. Kornet was a complete nonfactor all game and for some reason he played basically the whole 4th and got abused the whole time. He's seriously the biggest waste of a 7ft frame in all of basketball. Smart needs a wake up call too because hes been complete trash since he came back.

So disappointed in the performances we got from smart and white tonight they were both bums. And I absolutely LOATHE grant. This dude talks so much trash and then shrivels up when the game gets tight. Did you see him talking trash to D Mitchell and then completely wet the bed at the FT line at the end of regulation? That was hilarious because its so well deserved for that bum. He needs to zip his lips and just play basketball
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Everyone on here knew Rob was made of glass and would get hurt multiple times. We also knew Kornet isn’t a viable replacement. He’s smart but oh so weak on the glass.

But the biggest issue to me is smart. He plays offense like he is Kobe and should get as many shots as he wants.

honestly, it’s not about who we play in the playoffs; it’s all about how we play. if we play like we did in the 1H of the season, i’d pick the c’s over anyone in the nba. play like we have in the 2H, and it won’t matter who we play, it will be a first round exit.

Forget the refs and everything else. 3/20 on 3's in the 2nd half.

That is your ball game. Another die by the 3. Another lead blown.

Back to wanting Joe fired.

Yeah true. The guys played hard and fought well given the circumstances. It still sucks because the game was so winnable and we choked down the stretch for a 3rd straight time.

It's good we have two days off after the Blazers game, because this team really needs it.

In honestly I'm not that upset, they were shorthanded and played well for about 90% of the game. Unfortunately the 10% they didn't play well in outweighed the 90% they did because the 10% was at the end  :-\

Of the 3 losses, the Brooklyn one was the worst, followed by the NY one, followed by this one. But I'm still mad at GWill though  :police:
