Woke up this morning angry and frustrated with last night’s game. Tomorrow’s game is an 8:30 start.

So unnecessary. I expect we see a game 7 Saturday night on ABC. This team makes the same mistakes over and over.

Yup. Of course out of the 3 series that could be closed out last night it was the Celtics that gagged. Denver and phoenix took care of business with their superstars dominating. I firmly believe the Celtics would’ve gagged last night playing the timberwolves, clippers..whoever, could’ve been a g league team

And, whether it be in Game 6 or Game 7, if we advance we'll be gassed against Philly, while they will be able to get Embiid more rested.

Last night was a choke job with major consequences.

Time to panic was a couple of years ago when this team started showing that it falters coming out in the 3rd and struggles to hold a lead.  No one has the killer instinct to just shut the door on the opponents.

Worst is Tatum gave an interview before saying how they let series get too long last year because they didn't take teams seriously.

And here we are again. Prolonging a series for no reason.

Nope, unless you are a Bucks fan.

Things could certainly be worse…

Why do you keep trying to justify what the Celtics just did by what’s happening in the bucks series?

Bucks in 7.
Celtics in 7.
Long term Celtics have no chance

I heard this same argument several times last year after disappointing losses.  And yet ultimately they made it to the Finals.

This is a horribly annoying loss. But as long as they advance they can keep advancing…
Yup

I expect Boston to win game 6 by like 30 points.  Just wire to wire domination.

I hope so, but we haven't seen that yet in the playoffs, and we rarely saw it in the last two-thirds of the season.

I don't quite understand why, but last year's team loved stomping on the throats of other teams.  This year, they haven't showed the same killer instinct.

They’re just a weird ass team.  So much talent.

This team...ALL SEASON has shown zero interest in being killers on the court. They struggle to lock games down.

Up 13...at home...in an elimination game...with 6 minutes to play and you give up 30 points in that span and half of those to the SAME player.

Absolute failure on the defensive side of the ball. I hope to see them close this out tomorrow but I have little faith they will come out ready to do that. Have not seen that all year.

All this talent and they underachieve for such long stretches in games.

The fact this is going to a 6th game is absurd. The Hawks are average at best. And if it goes 7 that is just a disaster. Should have been done in 4 or 5...getting rest.

It is like this team just has to do things the hard way with their backs against the wall. I have no doubt that if it goes to a game 7 they will win rather handily but still...we should be talking about the sixers right now.

I looked quickly over the comments in this thread but the coaching doesn't seem to be getting enough blame (not to take ANY responsibility way from the players - they certainly deserve the blame they're getting).  I did just gloss over it so maybe I missed some comments.

At one point in the fourth I think the Celtics only had one turnover in the entire game and they proceeded to turn it over on I think three of the next four possessions.  The offense was in a total flux, Atlanta was scoring and not a single timeout.

Did Joe understand the implications of losing this game?  This is not the regular season where you can let them figure it out.  The title is there for the taking.  Milwaukee is down 3-1, Embiid is hurt and all of the western conference teams seem flawed.
