Yeah tomorrow night will definitely be Hospital Celtics. Smart is hurt and will be out. Horford played 37+ minutes and probably a few more in OT so he'll be rested. Hopefully Brogdon returns but still...

That was a great play call by Mazzulla. They faked Tatum going off a pick at the top of the key and went to Brown in the post on a good matchup.

What a great play call by Joe out of that timeout. He’s definitely a lot better at those than Ime was.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Thanks NBA for a brutal B2B.  Fly out to the mistake by the lake and play at 7 eastern.  Great scheduling guys.  I'd be ok with just resting our starters.  Forget the #1 seed.

Great end to regulation. Would have been great if JB called the TO - would have had .5 seconds for at least a chance.

Now let’s finish this one out. This is a big game for us

Win or lose, I don’t understand how you can have any confidence in this team atm. Zero identity. They don’t even know what their best rotation is on March 5th. Not good signs.

their identity is exactly how they played from the 4Q 6:00 mark until the previous time out: swarming, switching defense, and a downhill, attacking, fast break offense.

the problem isn’t identity, in crunch time they revert to who they are. the problem is the coach doesn’t demand they play like that for a full 48.
Playing 6 minutes isn’t an identity. It’s literally the opposite.

yes, your point is valid. i’m just pointing out that it’s clear what this team’s identity clearly is, if they had a coach who would hold them accountable. when the c’s play as i described, they’re unbeatable. it’s exactly why pbs built the roster as it’s currently constituted.

Driving to the rim and throwing it away. That was a 5 point swing

Another horrible display of resiliency by entitled Celtics fans in this game thread. I’m glad the American Revolution was fought back then and not now.
