while jt was shooting his FTs, joe called smart over and, standing side-by-side, they put their arms around each other and chatted. joe looked to be challenging marcus in a respectful manner. don’t know what was said, but i like smart’s energy since.

How is Randle not ejected??
Why would you want a star player ejected on a cheap call?
Did you not see him bump the ref?
And? That would be cheap and honestly ruin the game. They probably didn’t throw him out because they knew Smart toed the line and won that call vs Randle.

Randle should be tossed.  Grant was tossed for a less flagrant bump earlier this year

Yeah, this is the kind of inconsistency that is so frustrating to watch of NBA officiating. You never know what is and is not a foul, technical foul, take foul, etc. any given night.

Randle and Barrett are somehow getting superstar calls, it's comical

So Randle complains, bumps the ref and now they get every call. This league is such a joke.

That's been the standard for decades. I remember Rondo being ejected for the same. You think they wouldn't eject Tatum if he did that? Just more NBA double standards.

Even on the same night.

Yep, absolutely. Good on Joe. As much as we crap on him, he did well there, and Smart has looked great and has scored, assisted, adn had good defense ever since. Did what he needed to do.
