CALL THE TIMEOUT, JOE!

Joe just can't help himself.

Allowing a 15 to 2 run in favor of your opponent is better than calling a timeout and drawing up a decent offensive play to get your team back on track, apparently.

I mean, no rational coach let's that run go on that long. We were clearly reeling, just chucking up threes and not getting great looks.

It's so frustrating because just as you think Joe has gotten over himself and his dogmatic philosophy, he pulls this kind of crap and lets the other team right into the game because of his own futility.

All starts with the noncall on Morant.  He used his off arm to ward off DWhite on that transition layup.  Should have been an offensive foul.
That one to me was a no call. But Morant fouled White on his attempt at the basket and no call

The refs aren't consistent on that call, but if they're going to call it sometimes then they need to call it all the time.  You can't use your off arm to push off mid air and prevent the defender from contesting the shot.

CALL THE TIMEOUT, JOE!

Joe just can't help himself.

Udoka would have called a time out right after the energy shift.
Something he learned from Pops.

If we lose; this is where it happened.
Thankfully, we are playing at home

Al and Tatum struggling this game.  Was not a fan of the ATO play.

Feel like Al’s dislocated finger may be affecting his shooting touch.

And just like that - 5-0 run after the timeout.

I for sure would've called that timeout on that Tatum lazy D. Maybe even earlier with those egregious poor defenses. But man, allowing a 15-2 run and letting them tie the score to call TO? Come on.

AL hasnt shot well since the finger injury.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

The C's are getting shafted on these awful calls.

This take foul is such nonsense. Good idea in theory, but it's so arbitrarily called.
