The C's could pretty much clinch the tiebreaker with Philly tonight.  They'd have a 2-0 lead on Philly for the season, so the most Philly could do is get to 2-2.  And the next tiebreaker is Division -- a win tonight would move the C's to 8-1 in the division and drop Philly to 5-5.  Making up 3.5 games with only 6 division games left would be pretty insurmountable.  If it happened, it's likely the tiebreaker wouldn't even be needed.  So tonight's game is effectively worth 2 with regard to the standings.

Yep.

If the C's win, they'd also be 4 games up on PHI with about 27-28 games left to go. Not impossible, but it's also unlikely PHI can make up 5 games on us in that span (assuming we get the tiebreaker which is very likely with a win tonight). Then it just sets it up so MIL and BOS are battling for the 1 seed, but whoever doesn't get it still gets the 2 seed which is also fine (just makes the road a bit difficult after the 2nd round)

So yeah, big game tonight

If JB is out again, I'm going to get very nervous.

You mean because you’re nervous about a trade, or nervous about winning this evening?

At this point whenever Timelord is "questionable" it's almost a given he's out.

But with Horford also questionable, it makes me wonder if Timelord plays but Horford is out. But if we are missing Horford AND Timelord tonight then YIKES

Well, at least we adequately addressed the need for a reliable backup big for occasions exactly like this one.

Embiid is also questionable, so it's shaping up to be a game of wings and guards.  I like our chances in that matchup.

Oh really? Not to sound like I'm "rooting for injuries" but if he's out that's massive for us. Really no excuse to lose if he's out even if we're missing some guys

Gotta get another playable big. Al and Rob are always hurt and Kornet isn’t it.

Embiid has been questionable for the last 6 games but has played in them so I'm expecting him to play in this one also.

Philly and Boston have very different interpretations of the word “questionable” it seems.
