This team has gone back to lazy offense where they don’t move the ball and Chuck up 3s. Last time they moved the ball was in phoenix

Two of the most pathetic losses I've ever seen in a row. Things go downhill when this team isn't hitting their threes and rebounding the ball.

Second question - in a game where three offensive rebounds ultimately sealed our fate, why the heck was our best rebounder in Timelord not out there and instead we were going small?

Joe's love obsession about going smaller is nearly as bad as his love obsession with "letting the guys figure it out". Timelord was only at 18 minutes, yet we're not playing him in the final minutes when he was our best big defender out on the perimeter and our best rebounder.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Glad this team has two days off. I’m tired of watching this kind of effort. Get your stuff together for Wednesday

This is now officially a slump and this is the first time they are facing adversity, this is Joe Mazz’s first challenge. It’s all good to have teaching moments but at some point you have to put your foot down when the team isn’t doing the right things.

Yes the last two games have been very low energy, it almost feels like they didn’t respect the Magic enough to put effort in

I'd say time for a player's only meeting. Losing two in a row, esp at home, to the same team is unacceptable and if you think otherwise idk what to tell ya. The effort has not looked promising.

The slump started in Golden State. If the C's didn't luck out against the Lakers, they're riding on a 5 game losing skid.

Yep. TP. This is what I've been saying all along. His philosophy is taken to an extreme, and it's actively hurting the team.

What's more problematic is that I truly think he believes this is just a shooting slump issue for us. Everything he says is that he likes the way we've been hunting these threes, even when they clearly look forced or not within the flow of the game. This is what he's saying today:

Quote
Joe Mazzulla said “outside of the result” he thought the Celtics played “a pretty good game.”

Does anyone really feel like these guys played a good game outside of a few runs and spurts? I sure don't. I thought their offense was abysmal throughout, and only when they stopped slowing down the game and chucking awful threes did we start having success offensively.

It’s pretty bad. No longer consensus best team in the league.  Orlando was calm and collected - much more in control than Cs for 96 minutes.

Did I read that right? Tatum missed a game due to his son's birthday?

So are we going to give the rest of the team off for whatever family party they feel is important?

Back to wanting Joe fired.
