This team aint winning chips until they learn to not let the refs throw them off their game.
I remember when the 2008 Celtics finally learned this. Remember how the 1st rounds went 7 games with the Celtics only winning at home? They would get so upset at the refs. Game 6 ECF in Detroit, refs are killing us. Team keeps control and wins on the road for the 1st time in the playoffs. Goes on to win the title, including a 27 point comeback on the road.
This team is not mentally tough enough when the whistles start yet. No banner 18 till they beat this.

Oh look, Ham called a timeout after a 5-0 Celtics run. What a novel idea.

Right now they are front runners. They look good when they’re making 3s but when they start missing their transition defense is TERRIBLE

I kind of want them to lose this game so that it heaps some pressure on them…on Joe as well as the players. They need to do some soul searching about how to defend when they miss shots

Remember when we used to get to the line?

Yeah, AD has something to do with that. He’s been playing really well.

Joe keeps telling them to protect the paint, problem is they can’t with Blake in there.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Oh look at that - Ham actually calls a timeout when he senses  a momentum shift.
Are you telling me coaches have different philosophies? Curious.

The whole 3rd quarter Reggie Miller was saying the Celtics shouldn’t play with fire. It was a won game. That’s exactly what happened. We can blame the refs all we want, but that third quarter was all turnovers, missed threes, zero intensity. They played as if it was garbage time and paid dearly for it.

Joe has just been completely exposed on this road trip. Awful rotations and gameplan decisions each game. What a joke.

A joke of a coach

your post is more of a joke actually. He's not perfect but he also had to deal with a lot esp on this road trip, playing tough games on the road with little rest with both of your best bigs out.

Somethings wrong when he refuses to call a TO and try and halt the laker run.
Have you ever listened to him talk on this, at all? It would be concerning if he did call the timeout, because it would mean he actually has no faith in his philosophy

Lol if his philosophy is to let his gassed team allow a 20 pt lead evaporate, he can keep it.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

This excuse goes out the window when you've been up by 20 most of the game and start going through the motions.

Also, they look fatigued and tired out there, which further brings into question the ridiculousness of playing the main guys huge minutes in the blowout last night.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Cool. Our GM seems to be fine with it, and his word is all that matters.

Tatum was getting to the line 10x but we as a team with 10 freethrows... Tatum with 8 Kornet with 2 and no other Celtic to the line.

We've been able to weather poor shooting when we have our starting big (one of them at least), rather than two 3rd stringers.

This Faker run started with GWill complaining to the referees about the foul he was called on AD

Now he is whining again
