I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Too bad the starters had to come in, but this was still an easy, fun game.

7 players with double figures
5 with at least 3 assists
Beautiful passing
Jaylen handled being the main guy seamlessly

Great win without JT (and Timelord, and Gallo, but we know that  :police:). Defense could have been better with the Wizards shooting 54% but if you score 130 and shoot 47% from 3 at 16-34 you can't complain.

Only disappointing thing is having to bring the starters back in, the offense got a little static and the defense got even more ole-style.

Hope they back up well against the Hayward-less and LaMelo-less Hornets tomorrow. TPs for all!

C’s taking care of business with JT out. Good to see. TP’s all around!

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Great game, except for when Justin Jackson (-14) was on the floor. ;)

Our starters thoroughly outplayed the Wizards, so I'm happy. Hopefully some more guys get some rest tomorrow.

i know we are going to win this one pretty easily.
but I don't like giving up 120 to a mediocre team.  just too many points to give up.

Yeesh.  Glad we saved that mess for when the game was already over, lol.

Good win anyway.  The major rotation guys were all very good today.

Jaylen Brown is a key member of this Celtics roster and I am delighted he showed his leadership in the absence of JT.
