To make things worse, Scott Foster just on his knees trying to win this game for Denver down the stretch  ::)

- Denies a challenge for Toronto

- Approves a challenge for Denver

- Throws Barnes out of the game for questionable reasons

Seems as though you’re still pretty confident in the Celtics thinking that Denver’s record matters at all in relation to us.

It doesn’t.
it does, if the C's right their ship and get to the finals and Denver's the opponent

Neither Denver or Boston will be in the finals, so paying attention to the nuggets record in relation to us is a giant waste of time

Care to enlighten us who is going to be in the Finals then, Nostradamus?

Would like to be able to plan my May &  June sooner than later.

Bucks in the east
Warriors or Suns in the west

We're closer to the 3 seed than we are the 1 seed.

We hold the tiebreaker with Philly, so technically we’re equidistant between the two.

Bridges was a fantastic acquisition by BKN. If they can land another star somehow this offseason with their picks and other current players, I think they could be back to being a legit contender next year as Bridges and the younger guys also grow + improve. Noel was also a sneaky good add, they now have rim protection even when Claxton is on the bench.

WOW! Sacramento is now the 2 seed in the West. Good for them. I am rooting for them to make a run. Also, their first home playoff game is going to be absolutely electric (and very loud)  ;D

Was in Sacramento for a business trip earlier this season, nice to see them make noise for the first time in many years.

Sacramento is a great story.  Mike Brown should run away with coach of the year and McNair has to be among the favorites for executive of the year (the Huerter trade was awesome, Murray looks like the right pick, Monk was an excellent signing, etc.).

that said, I'd be surprised if they even won their 1st round matchup.  I just don't think Fox and Sabonis are a good enough 1/2 to really have post season success.

Happy for Sacramento's success but if anyone ever wanted a good example for how success in one field absolutely does not indicate potential success in another, Vivek Ranadivé is a great example.

Just read on B/R that GWill turned down a 4 year low 50M offer.  Not thinking he does much better than that.

It sounds like he was hoping for similar money to what Smart and White currently have (4 years, 18-20M AAV). He's simply not worth that. 4/54M was perfect and he should have taken it. He took the gamble, and at this point idk if he's even worth more than the MLE

I think they made a nice move to get Sabonis.  Haliburton was/is good but Sabonis really rounded out their team.  I have a hard time with them though.  Their first round could be LAL (with LeBron and Davis) or MIN (with Towns).  Those would be tough outs for them.  Or if they drop back down to the 3 seed or below, they could get DAL or GSW.

Their point differential is +2.7/gm, pretty low for a top team.  Worse than the Knicks for example (they are +2.9).  They have a good young core right now though, with some ceiling still.  Harrison Barnes is a UFA after this season.  Interesting to see if he sticks around.

And another thing about SAC, their starting 5 has played together in 50 games for a total of 732 minutes, most in the league, for a net +55.  That kind of continuity really helps a team win games.

The Knicks are only .5 game behind the Kings record wise and have the 4th best record in the sport since early January.  Knicks are actually pretty tough once Thibs took full control of who was playing.
