Neither Grant's nor Noah's jobs will be to be scorers or creators. It's not what they do. Expecting different, even when they might be looked up on as higher than the #4 or #5 scoring option on the floor, is an exercise in failure. They might get lucky and score some, but it sure should not be expected.
Grant's job will be what it was last year: play great defense and intelligent basketball and hit those threes when it's kicked out for a wide open shot. If he develops a drive and score after the kick out, awesome.
Noah, let's see if he makes the team first. If he does he needs to play his role. My guess is it will start with great defense and it will go from there. Can he provide the great defense? We will see.
