Seeing philly lose is almost as good as sb win in my book. It's not the team, it's the fans I despise.

The call at the end didn't lose the game for them the fumble and punt return did the job. However, the fact they feel they got screwed makes it all the better.

Totally agree. Love when Filthadelphia loses.
Been a big year of losses for that city ;D

They won't have to worry about the Sixers losing in the Finals, though.
Yet another 2nd round crumble for them

I'm not even sure they're a guarantee to make it out of the first round, especially if they draw MIA

And when they lose to Milwaukee or Boston I don't know that I'd call it crumble since you know Boston and Milwaukee are both better than Philly.

Btw, a few of my co-workers said this and I kind of agreed. Did anyone else feel like the atmosphere of this Super Bowl felt lame? Like... it really didn't feel like a Super Bowl. The way the teams played, the commentary, the atmosphere all felt extremely casual even in the final 5 minutes. It didn't feel like a "suspense every single play" game

And this was the freakin' Super Bowl lol

Because there's no Tom Brady in the Superbowl. If he was in the Superbowl, we got Patriot fans rooting hard for him or all these Brady haters cheering against him  ;D

The Chiefs/Eagles are bleh. Even last year SB was pure garbage...supposed to be Tom Brady vs the Bengals.  >:(

I think there’s something to this. Brady winning 5, 6, and 7 SBs increased the pressure. Mahomes just got 2, and it will be at least 5 years at a minimum until he can match Brady’s record.

I think Mahomes will win 2-3 more and go down as #2 behind Brady and ahead of Montana.

Felt like a SB to me, especially the suspense in the last few minutes.

Felt like a great SB to me, start to finish. Two excellent QBs who played very well.  Very nice competitive game.  The guys I was texting with were all saying ‘great game’.

I hate the Eagles just as much as everyone else...their filthy fanbase and Nick Foles, Lane Johnson, their dirty players and all but...man the Chiefs are at a whole new level lately. Dissing defensive backs for that holding, and then trolling them with 0 pass rushes allowed, Travis Kelce being so arrogant...this is why I wanted the Eagles to win. Can't stand watching the Chiefs rejoice.

Travis Kelce has become quite the tool over the past year or so. And he just sounds like a clown on the mic with all that "they didnt even think we were a playoff team" crap. No, thats a complete lie. The media and fans have been on the chiefs jock strap all year long dont give me that. Them and the bills were the only contenders according to the talking heads. Absolutely cant stand them or their fan base at all.

But I guess that goes for the eagles as well, and they deserved a little ref karma for the BS in SB52
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Sounds like Bieniemy is moving to Washington.  Still can't believe he can't get a head coaching job given all he has done in KC.

I don’t know. I’m not wowed by KC’s offensive game plans. It’s more like they have the best ad libber in the game at QB after plays break down.

Its certainly a fair question of how much of it is Mahomes versus Bieniemy.

Regardless, he should've had a head coaching job by now, though.  Paid his dues and other assistants have gotten head coach jobs with way less on their resumes.  He should have an opportunity to head coach somewhere.

Washington will certainly be a test for him.

NFL head coach should not be a job you get because you paid your dues.  Being NFL head coach is not an entitlement.  A long resume is not necessarily a positive.  His resume is predominantly as a running back coach.  How many offensive-minded NFL head coaches have their experience as RB coach versus QB coach or o-line coach?  Otherwise he only has a 2-year stint as OC at Colorado and 5 years as OC at KC.  So how much is it Mahomes versus Bieniemy?  How much is it Reid versus Bienemy?  He's turned down at least one college head coach offer (Colorado).

He's interviewed a lot.  Maybe he doesn't interview well.  If he was that good of a prospect for head coach, some team would have already hired him.  Why should an NFL owner hire Bienemy rather than a younger hot shot who is in demand?  Why should he be hired over someone with as long or longer resume who has prior head coaching experience?

If he can turn around a bottom 1/3 offense in ppg, then I am sure he will get a shot at HC next year.

EB's 5 years as OC at KC has consisted of 5 1-year contracts without any buyout.  That seems awfully strange.  If he's so good, why wouldn't they have locked him up on a multi-year deal with a buyout to discourage lateral moves?

The NFL has had to create a rule to force teams to even interview minority candidates and has a class action lawsuit against them. Let’s not act like that isn’t a real issue for the nfl.
