Yeah at this point, I have zero clue what a catch is anymore. Feels like they change the rule and/or change the ruling each week. No consistency, and whatever the ref calls on the field also typically stands (not tonight, but still...)

Maybe not, but I've seen other plays where even when that happens, they rule it a catch because he had two steps in bound and made a 3rd step (out of bounds) so they "had possession" up until that point. Again, there's just no consistency. Even the NFL has no clue at this point
