Two wrong. No low score.

I had some trouble with New Orleans. Does Charlotte Hornets count or not? My 2nd one there was accurate for Charlotte in late 90s Sacramento early 00s but ruled incorrect so it looks like it doesn't. I am not sure when New Orleans starts to count.

I picked another guy in my first guess for New Orleans who played for them in early 00s who worked. I thought when they were there only temporarily. On checking up on that, it turns out they were there permanently already. It was when they went to OKC for two years after Katrina that they had a temporary home. So I guess they are good from 2002 onwards.

Then the last one in the line I just got wrong (right at the start as well). I went for a guy who replaced a guy who was more famous to get the 10rpg figuring he'd have a lower score but turns out he did not qualify. Never averaged 10rpg in NO which surprised me. Did elsewhere. Flat out wrong.

Anyway, at least now I understand how New Orleans works in future ones. 2002 onwards.

That's actually incorrect on their end,  new Orleans should be the team that accounts for the original Charlotte teams.  The bobcats were an expansion team with no ties to the original hornets,  they just took the name back when new Orleans changed it.

Who, I had the same confusion on what counts for New Orleans.

My solution was to pull up the franchise index on bball-ref (while trying to avoid looking at the players), and I assumed any team in the franchise index would work.  I suggest doing this next time if you're not sure if a team counts in the history or not.

So New Orleans counts the Hornets from '03 on, but not the Charlotte years, and no New Orleans Jazz years.

Current Charlotte counts all the original Hornet years '89-'02 + the Bobcats + and current Hornets.

OKC gets Sonic and Thunder (but not the Hornets), but I imagine if Seattle ever gets another team that Sonics history will move from OKC back to Seattle (similar to what happened with Charlotte's history).

So best bet is look up the franchise index if unsure, not considered cheating in my book.

A couple of whiffs, the end of bench Cav player I thought of was on the team in '17 not '16, and I combined the playing history of 2 players with similar names.

Interesting note, the Mavs and Cavs, who both only have 1 championship, each have 18 players eligible as the answer.  So even if a player was cut early in the season, or traded mid-season, they're still apparently eligible for the answer, which goes directly against what the rules state:

To qualify as winning the NBA Finals for a team, a player must have been on the postseason roster during the title-winning season.

Something to consider when going for that low rarity score.

Argh. I thought I could get it under 5. That last column got me a bit. A 2% and a 3%. I was only on a rarity score of 3 before those two.

I did that column last. Tough to get a low score on those title winning ones especially CLE and DAL who only won titles recently. At least I know the name of a few of those 1971 Bucks guys from reading a book written by one of their star players who talked about all the guys on tha team. So I got one real rare guy. 0.06%.
