2nd guess was a direct connection. The shorter path suggestion. I thought the first one did as well but they must have missed each other in Chicago.

Ha! He never even played in Chicago (my first guess)!. Okay. I thought he did. He didn't.

I was struggling on that one. Not good on the careers of either of these guys. I know Trent Jr's teammates on his current team but only a few of his previous team as I did not like watching them play during that star PG era there. Timmy Hardaway Jr was a tough one for me too. I have a good idea of which teams he played for prior to his current team but not which years he was there for or what teammates he had while he was there. So limited option wise with both of these guys.

The two-guess solution was alright considering that. Interesting connectors.

Ah interesting path. I went with Aminu as my first guess. Played in DAL at some point and definitely played in POR next to Trent Jr. I was hoping Aminu crossed paths with Timmy Hardaway but he didn't. I wasn't sure where to go from there but then I remembered Aminu played with LAC early in his career and would've played next to DeAndre Jordan who also played in Dallas and would've played with Timmy Hardaway Jr.

I felt a bit silly after seeing the shorter path suggestion of Melo! Melo played with Trent Jr in POR and Timmy Hardaway in NYC.

I had no idea who Tim Hardaway played with in NY or ATL or what years he was there for. They were useless to me. Had to roll with his Dallas years.

Ah, that one lucked out. Only know part of Willie Green's career and that lined up with someone that played with Giannis. Journeyman Willie Green after that. No idea who he played with from then on.

I went with Jrue Holiday yesterday. Played with Willie Green in Philly and current teammate of Giannis in Milwaukee. Got lucky because if there wasn't a Philly connection, I was in trouble. I remember nothing of Willie Green after he leaves Philly.

Trae Young is a bit awkward in these games. A number of his teammates have been young and played on only one team in Atlanta. All those young wings. The young PF. The backup C. Only a small number of vets an I usually forget half of them including the shorter path suggestion today. Never remember that guy.

That was an interesting one. I like the time-gap ones between guys who played likfe 5-10yrs before the guy and trying to figure out which of their later teammates might have played with the younger dude late in their career.
