Rockets waiving Derrick Favors.

Sign him??

Yes, please.

Shams Charania: The Houston Rockets are planning to waive center Derrick Favors, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Rockets needed to make a roster cut to reach 15 guaranteed spots. – via Twitter

Wow, that is big news.  Do you just sign him and have extra bigs or do you cut someone, maybe Kornet, to make room for him?

Cut Kornet, sign him to fill the empty spot on the coaching staff.

Co-sign. C’s are getting killed on the glass. 27-17 at the half… :-X  Could really use him…

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Favors only 31? Thought he was older
He was only just 19 when he played his first game. Started very young.

I was all aboard the Favors hype train in 2014-16. I blame Rudy Gobert!

Sign him already, Brad. What’s taking so long!

I feel this way about Ricky Rubio. Think he’s like 45 but he’s 31. Remember watching that dude playing as a 16 year old in euro league games.

Another of my potential targets.  I’d like two of Favors, Harkless, and Johnson.

I’d also like Stevens to put in a waiver claim on Leandro Bolmaro if he gets released.  He had a rough rookie year but I really like him, and we have room for one developmental player on our roster (but no more than one).

Not feeling the love for Harkless or Johnson. I don't think either are very good players and not sure what they bring to the table that's better than Hauser overall.

Favors, yeah. Bring him in and cut one of Vonleh or Kornet. Don't care which, as I find them to be equal in quality as #13-#15 type players.

Lots of decent options. I think this is why the Celtics slow played this. Time to make a move though. Get them in if youvare are going to.

Jordan Poole getting paid! 4 years, 140 million:

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10034651-jordan-poole-warriors-finalizing-4-year-140m-contract-extension

That’s what separates the Warriors from everyone else.

I expected him to get a contract similar to what Herro did. Little bit more but in the ball park. Can’t imagine they’d be willing to pay Draymond what he wants going forward.
