Better than yesterday. I always worried the bench wasn't strong enough and the injuries would catch up. It is frustrating that they could have won by now just keeping it simple and going away from moving the ball. And if the win the Finals its on fathers day, which is cool.

But thinking of the future, they have some tweaking to do, a legit playmaker, some one that can break down D with the dribble, You can't have Brown and Tatum both have lose handles.

But we have 3 pretty decent TPE's and getting to the finals will get guys who are wiling to take a paycut to get a ring looking at Boston.

Yes. For sure we'll need a true point guard. And then we'll need rotational players who can provide scoring/depth.

We keep saying it, but then they have like 5 turnovers in the 1st quarter  :P

No nerves at all. But I am angry that they have given this series away with the same bad habits we have seen for these playoffs. Turnovers and no rhyme or reason on offense.

This is a missed opportunity to win a title if they can’t get it done Thursday.

Only if that true PG can play defense. I would say run it back with some key depth pieces. Look how far Tatum has come in one short year. A year ago he couldn’t beat the double team and rarely eclipsed 4 assists in any game. Now, 5-6 assists is an off night. He’s 24 and if they lose, he’ll be even more focused to improve his game.

Strangely at peace. Like many here, the hardest loss to digest was game 4. They got my hopes up again during the great and crazy third quarter of game 5 but now I just feel like either we lose game 6 at home or we win and then anything can happen in game 7.

Losing at home and seeing GS celebrate on the parquet would suck so that’s kind of the only scenario I would like to avoid now. And I know there are no guarantee that we will be back next year or in the near future but this season was a success to me as soon as we got over the ECF hump. And I’m just really proud of the progress of the team and our guys, who will only improve next year - that’s the exciting part.

This is a series Boston should win so I'd be absolutely disappointed in a losing outcome especially given how the series has played out.  I mean if the games would have mostly looked like game 2, well then, that is different, but when stupid self inflicted mistakes are the reason you lose, when you've been the better team for most of the series, it is a tough pill to swallow.

This biggest gut punch was MIL game 5. But we got to watch the recovery two days later. Now I gotta wait until Thursday at 9pm?? Sheesh….

I haven’t seen Boston as the better team overall. Certainly not in G2 or G5.  C’s should not have lost G4. But GS has been tough defensively and managed to win relatively easily last night when they couldn’t shoot (which otherwise have been doing well).  Destroyed the Cs when they started making shots.

I think you and others neglect that this team turning the ball over is who they are in these playoffs - and episodes of sloppy is who they’ve been all year.   It’s not some unknown  entity - it’s the 2021-22 Celtics. Were they to suddenly stop the sloppy quarters and finish tight games, they’d be a different team. Can’t say “just don’t do that” when inconsistent is what/who they are.  Future iterations hopefully will solve this problem.

Still, they are 2 wins from an NBA championship in a season that no one early had them as a contender.

Think they are good when I expect the worst which is a game 6 loss. But if C's force game 7 I will feel a mess because I will feel they can win. I like low expectations

Thats going to be the tough part, not many can playmake and play D, and would be available for the cheap. I love Smart, maybe next year he'll be more consistent with a full season under his belt.

Really need Horfords replacement, love to have Al come off the bench. And a 3and D wing, along with a legit Back up for TL.

I am not sure what is wrong with the Celtics past two games. We look like the Celtics from first part of the season. No team work. Bad shot selection. GSW playing better defanse at the moment. But what is driving me crazy, why dont we use are bigs more. Warriors are to small. Why dont we take advantage of that? Some of ur players needs to grow up and sacrifise for the team...

I expected game 7 and a road that will push all to the ledge of insanity. Nothing has changed. Win at home Thursday and get it to just that.

Love the posts that say sad we will never get back to finals with a 24 year old Tatum and 25 year old Brown and even younger Timelord. Comical…Even Jordan did not win his first til late 20’s.

It has been a great year and we can still win this.

I belive too, but someone has to prepare this guys mentally. I hope Ime does. I dont like watching Tatum and Brown taking turns. Ball has to move more. We have to play team basketball both on defanse and offence. We need a good match preperation for game 6. I hope there is time to turn things around.
