It feels pretty obvious that if GSW wins the series, Curry is FMVP. If Boston does, it's Jaylen
Eh, as subpar as Tatum has scored, he's still doing a lot more playmaking than Brown. It's probably 50/50 right now. I'm not upset with either of them winning, though would prefer if Brown made his case a bit stronger and take the Finals MVP with JT getting the ECF MVP.
If JT would play / give 100% on def it might be close between him and Brown.
I mean, Brown is a good individual defender, but he gets lost and daydreams ALOT on help defense, too. Did it several times tonight.
And, again, when he's the primary playmaker setting up others and is regularly seeing double teams, that's a lot easier than Brown's offensive load and focus. That's a lot for Tatum to do on both ends.
I hope JB gets it. But to act like they're not pretty much even at this point is off base with how Brown has also disappeared in some of the games and the additional ways that Tatum is contributing that Brown is doing less of.
