My God, Timelord should ride the bench for the rest of the night with that lazy defense on Iggy. What a soft, weak challenge. Head isn't in the game.
Lazy or is he having trouble moving because of his knee? Looks to me like he can't move laterally.

That Iggy 3 basically summed it up. Not just Curry, a lot of their guys are shooting lights out. Frustrating.

But I love White being aggressive at the end. If the C's actually miraculously comeback or even make it close, his FTs and aggressive drives late in the 3rd will be a big reason why

Dubs shooting 46% from 3. That (and the o-rebs) has been the difference.

A tale as old as time: Cs not showing up to 3rd quarters

Ironically, we used to be good at these at some point in the year. The downtrend started in the Bucks series.

Yep. All year long we were a good third quarter team, always coming out strong in the third before occasionally letting up in the fourth. Why that's changed in the playoffs is beyond me.

Celts were supposed to come out the more physical team after our tougher Eastern Conference series'.
We were supposed to show Golden State a type of play they had not dealt with in the finessee-style Western Conference.
Lord, I miss the days when Boston used to pound teams on the offensive boards. In 1984, we shot 36% from the field for the entire series vs Lakers in the finals, but dismantled them with our offensive rebounding to win the title.

I hope Brad is paying attention, though he is Mr. Finesse himself. We need knock-down shooters and we need offensive rebounding !!

we could use a moses malone, shaq, olajuwon, mchale or chief about now down low to throw it to

this is  ajoke

if we cannot use our advantage correctly we are in deep deep trouble
Now I'm trying to imagine Moses Malone switching out to guard Curry on the perimeter and getting a good old chuckle

GS playing tougher tonight.  If they're gonna be hot from 3, so be it.  Being outplayed and out toughed, out worked....COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!

AND HAS ANYONE PUT AN APB OUT ON JT??

If the knee, then he doesn't need to be playing. Can't afford that kind of weak spot against this team's perimeter shooting.

Soft contest by Rob for the millionth time. Giving him perimeter guys is just silly with his physical limitations

I think its fine since its Iggy. Just made the shot.

IMHO our real problem is Tatum missing shots. He had several good looks that were automatic.

I dunno if the shoulder is still bothering him, hes been less confident on his outside shot since. I see him hesistating and driving more after that injury.

Disastrous quarter.  But all is not lost.

Play 12 smart minutes and we win.

Tatum putrid tonight. 3-14 shooting. Not beating the thunder with those numbers.

Even if Tatum was average, maybe it's a tie game or something headed to the 4th. He's been awful. Just like Game 3 Miami and Milwaukee both. Hopefully it's a one-off though because if he has another like that this series, that could be it.

the #1 defensive team in the nba gave up 92 points in three quarters, while its best offensive player is mia. worst possible scenario for the C’s.
