If Ime doesn't find an answer for the Heat Blitzing Tatum than the series is over. Tatum couldn't have looked any worse last game.

I think Tatum can bounce back, but he's got to have a plan for how they attacked him last game. They were able to take our best player completely out of the game.

Eric Spolestra has a lot more experience and it really showed last game. Let's hope the Celtics coaching staff can adjust to this Buddy Ryan style of defense.

I mean, Spolestra is probably the best coach in the NBA.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Spo has Riley for counsel, but Ime has Stevens for counsel. We’ll respond to this. It will not stand.

Truth be told, both teams have two excellent coaches on both sides (Spo/Riley and Ime/Brad), and are probably the best coached teams in the league. The issue is that Ime isn’t nearly as good at in-game adjustments as Spo is. A function of experience.

Coaching did not cost the Celtics the game last night; 23 turnovers and 7 missed foul shots by the players caused the 6pt loss.

Turnover differential (-15), yes!!!   Missed foul shots, no.  23-30 (76.7%) from the line didn't cost the game.

Yea, a gift of 33 points off of turnovers is hard to beat.  I'll give you the foul shots missed only cost them 1-2 points based on their foul shooting average for the season....81.6%

But Ime also was under Popovich's wing before. I think he should/could take a thing outta his playbook. He's def faced Spo in playoff games before in 2013

Pop is the best coach in the league. Spo is probably the second best. Spo has most definitely outcoached Ime thus far.

I think Spo is probably a better head coach right now than Ime.  Just has way more head coaching experience and nba titles.  Ime has been good during the playoffs though.

Cs had a -24 point differential on TOs converted.

You can blame Ime for starting Theis over GWill which led to Bam going berserk though in Q1. Obviously Spo's a better coach given his experience, but the team has shown little composure in two games, which is not a trait of champions I've seen. The Cs are resilient, but they shouldn't have to be as resilient as they need to be. They have elite shotmakers and they have an elite defense and that should be enough, but it might not be this year (and the rash of injuries don't help [Edit], nor does the lack of depth).

They probably win with a few more ft made.

Spo is a phenomenal coach but I'm not sure why Ime is getting blame either. It's easy to say "bench Theis" but like... all of our guys can't play 48 minutes. Also, the dumb turnovers and missed FTs aren't all on Ime either. At some point, the players also have to perform.

Ime didn't create 23 turnovers or forget how to dribble like Brown.

Boston has lost 2 quarters in this series, but they lost them so badly they've lost 2 games.  Obviously the players were playing poorly, but I'd like to think something could have been done to stop the bleeding.  I don't care if you have to use all of your timeouts, use them.  I don't care if you have to put someone like Fitts in the game, do it.  It couldn't possibly have been worse than what happened in the 1st quarter last night or the 3rd quarter of game 1.
