Smart is looking good, but we all know he's due for some misses in the second half. There's no way he's going to shoot over 50% from three the whole game through.

Glad he went from 6 3's to 1 in the 2nd quarter.  Great that he hit them early, but he can't keep shooting.

JB needs to explode!
It also helps to stretch out the Bucks defence. They close out with aggression, and things open up inside for guys like D-White

Refs need to even out the FT disparity. I know the Cs are taking jump shots but they are getting mugged when they get inside.

If the shooting hold out, and we don’t allow second chance baskets.

Make Brown a stationary shooter, let Smart and Tatum find him in his favorite spots.

Finger crossed

It'll even out in game 7!

Not at all.

He was in foul trouble another game earlier this series, and when he committed a clear foul they gave it to Hill even though he didn't do anything lol (to protect Giannis)

24 minutes.

Gotta leave it all out there.  Hustle, get the 50/50 balls.  Move your feet and stay in front of Giannis. Stay on your feet and get back on D.  Box out!  Gang rebound.  Move the ball.

It's more like will he foul himself out. They won't call it on him on D but if he keeps running everyone over on offense sooner or later it catches up to you.

I said this last time: A good coach goes right at him in the first half-court set, draw that 4th foul!

Just got a moment online to check the box score. Based on that things look cautiously promising?

I'm not watching but I imagine the ESPN halftime show is:

- Perk makes hot take

- 5 commercials

- Stephen A. hot take

- Jalen Rose speaks for 20 seconds

- 5 commercials

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
That possession where the Nets had like 5 or 6 opportunities with offensive rebounds and jump balls was key for us. We just kept stopping them and then closed out the half in a strong way.

I didn't love the way Tatum was playing after his hot start, but hard to complain about his overall contribution. We just really need to keep playing hard D and hopefully the solid offense will come with it. We can do this!
