Smart does not want to give the ball up to anyone.

I was gonna say I wish Smart starts playing the same way as though the other starters were playing. He’s trying to score too much, to the detriment of ball movement.

He's the only one on the active roster who can sort of create a shot against set defense, with the possible exception of White.  No, he's not good at it, but "not good" is the best we've got.

We can yell about ball movement all we want, but just passing around the perimeter doesn't do anything.  Somebody has to bend the defense and he's our only real option.
