I’ve been critical of him in the past, but Pritchard coming off the bench throwing fire really gives our team a dimension that we’ve been missing.  Dude is earning his role and I hope he keeps playing well.

After a great summer league that broken nose to start the year really threw a monkey wrench into his season but he's bounced back nicely. Ime has found good spots to use him regularly.

The most important thing that happened is that we traded Dennis Schröder. He was never a good fit on this team, and sending him out was addition by subtraction.

Interesting - Even though Schroeder would put up some good numbers, the team has seemed to gel since he was traded.
Gotta think Dennis is kicking himself for turning down that big contract the Lakers offered.

His numbers weren’t that good - he had some big games but a lot a lot of misses. His shooting was barely more efficient than first-half Smart, but he absolutely did not understand what the offense needed. Held the ball forever looking for his shot, walked the ball up when the team needed to play with pace. The team offense fell apart with him on the floor - and got a lot better when Marcus got the keys to the car.

which is really funny because people were telling me that Smart is expendable now that we have schroder. Ive always felt that our best lineup would really be Smart at the 1, Brown 2 and Tatum 3. Sure we can have Smart 2, Brown 3, Tatum 4 but it doesnt give us as much mismatches.

It's also worth mentioning that Marcus struggled hard to start the year.  I do think getting Schroder's influence off of the team was beneficial, but Smart right now is an entirely different player than he was over the first two months.  I actually trust his decision-making for the most part now, and that's a new feeling for me, haha.

With Philly's loss, we're essentially tied for 3rd now, 1/2 game behind MIL for 2nd.

Pritchard: 6-6 from the field and 5-5 from 3pt. Absolute sniper.

He’s a bad man. Just a great draft pick. Add in the Williams brothers and man, we got a dope young squad !

Thank you Danny Ainge...and 4/5 of our starters, maybe he wasn't so bad as a drafter.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

And we are going to own all the tiebreakers.

Tatum averaging 34/7/5 for the month on 53/45/89 shooting.  Strong candidate for player of the month.

I really like Eddie House in the Post Game show--glad we've added him to the team again.

Will Brad draft as well as Ainge? We'll see

Trader Brad is doing good, though, in my opinion. Al Horford for Kemba so we don't waste another of the Jay's years. Some people hate D-White - I like.

Agreed, Brad cleaned up the bad Danny picks and kept the good ones. Dunno if I could have lasted another season of Carsen Edwards.

Back-to-back 30 pt games for JT/JB.  Wonder who else has done that in C’s history.  Walker/Pierce?

Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum are the second pair of Celtics teammates to each score 30+ points in back-to-back games (Larry Bird and Kevin McHale, 1988) as the Boston Celtics ran over the Denver Nuggets, 124-104. - ESPN

Oh you're right, Brad is so cutthroat

Danny can do no wrong, though, in my books. That team with Kyrie/Hayward/Jays and Rozier + Morris twin was video game-esque. Felt like Ainge was teeing up for something big had he not gotten burned out.

So far Brad seems to be living up to Ainge's standards (but in a different way). What a treat to have two good GM's back to back.
