Man, if Detroit gets a top 3 pick in this year's draft, they are going to have a chance to really be a great team in a few years.  Like how they are building that team.  Do a nice job with their draft picks, especially Bey and Stewart. Kind of whiffed on Hayes. Cunningham is going to be a good one.

They still need a star type of player. They have good high end starters but lack top end punch.

I’m pretty comfortable that Cunningham will be a star by the time his second contract rolls around.

I agree, I see him by year 3-4 reaching all star level.

He looked better the last time the C’s faced a he Pistons, but I’m still not sold on him. Low FG and 3P%, turns the ball over a lot, average athleticism. In a redraft I’d take Mobley and he should be Rookie of the year as well.

I just don't see Cade as a number one player on a championship team.

I think he got hyped at the next Luka, and he just isn’t that. That said, I could see him making all star teams.
I think he'll definitely make a few All-Star games. I see him as being in a tier similar to DeMar DeRozan (in terms of career accolades only). Handful of All-Star appearances, maybe a few All-NBA appearances, and a couple of really great seasons.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

He's a long way from it. But he's  20 years old and was put out there to try to carry a bad team.

Since they started this little run by beating us 9 games ago, he's averaging 21/7/6 on 44% shooting.

He's got some serious all around talent. I wouldn't be shocked to see him get there one day.

IMO, hard to ask much more of a rookie considering the circumstances.

He just seems more like a complementary player. He could be a top player. I guess we'll see. I hope he plays badly tonight.
