Get this....

Celtics point differential for the entire season just went from +4.7 to +5.5 due to this one game.

It's incredible to think the point differential was hovering around +1.0 just about 5-6 weeks ago.

This defense is insane! The offense has been just as good tonight, but with this defense, putting up 100-110 will be more than enough.

White-Grant-Theis coming off of the bench with 2 starters will be lockdown. Hoping Pritchard and Nesmith can continue to play defense at a high level because they won’t need to be knockdown shooters with this defense (of course it’ll be better if they get on track).

Let's counterpoint this win.

If you take Embiid out this game; who's left? Is that what we did? Prevent Embiid from Embiiding, and then the rest couldn't beat us?

Cs now have best record in East vs teams with .500 or better record.

Just lucky.

I was super pleased by the fact that Theis stepped in without really missing a beat.  I wasn't sure what we were going to get from him after his less-than-successful stint with Houston.  If he's still Theis then he's a very useful rotation player.

And I hope Nesmith can find his confidence and ball out for us going forward.  Bring controlled energy and some scoring off the bench.  We need that.

Brad's strategy in the playoffs was always, make the rest of the Sixers beat you. If Embiid goes off against great defense, whatever but make others beat you. That way if Embiid falters, and he did in a lot of those playoff 2nd halves, the game is basically an easy W.

And it worked.

With Horford, This and the Williams boys, we have enough defense to beat the Sixers in a series. Harden doesn't concern me.

No real update on Marcus Smart but Ime Udoka says Smart didn't look great walking out. Says they'll check him out tomorrow and see, but Udoka says Smart rolled it pretty bad

With their 135-87 victory over the 76ers, The Celtics are the first team in NBA history to win 3 straight road games by at least 30 points.

Amazing stat. Not only did we set a franchise record for threes in a game, we just made league history, too!

Nesmith should watch White play.
