Any chance we make a run at him after he is bought out? I feel we could really use a true point guard.

He would be good bench scoring. There is a spot for him as a third guard unless you consider Smart, White, Brown as the three-guard rotation. We have a lot of players that can play at least two or three positions. Dragic would fit as instant scoring.

Smart and a White should be getting all the PG minutes. Pritchard is the 3rd stringer. No room for Dragic. This team has no backup SF, that’s a need.

Dragic would take Pritchard’s minutes lol. That being said, Dragic seems primes to go back to Miami or another contender (maybe Philly).

The Milwaukee Bucks lost two valuable reserve guards this week. Donte DiVincenzo was traded to the Sacramento Kings at the deadline, and Pat Connaughton was lost to a fractured fourth metacarpal in his right hand.

Connaughton is expected to return before the end of the regular season, after having surgery on Monday. With a need for some backcourt depth in the interim, the Bucks are going to aggressively pursue Goran Dragic on the buyout market. Dragic is expected to reach a buyout agreement with the San Antonio Spurs soon. The Spurs acquired Dragic at last week's trade deadline.

Multiple playoff contenders are expected to chase Dragic. The Bucks can offer playing time and a key role on a team that is looking to repeat as NBA champions.

Yeah, for guys who are at least passable as point guards, Wanamaker is one.  Has D.J. Augustin been bought out?  Is E'twaun Moore healthy at all?  He's more of a small SG, but he was decent pre-injury.

EDIT:  I guess this is the current list:

We won’t sign anyone for today, and then the good news Smart’s ankle as a week to heal/respond during the break, so management can figure out what they need.  If it’s something short-term and they’re still waiting on the buyout market to sort out, I expect Arcidiacono to get a 10-day.
