I only saw the last half the fourth, but you can tell their swagger is different. They are more confident when the other team starts to make a comeback.

C's couldn't throw it into the ocean early. Cane out tight. Hawks went up 16 in the second. C's came out focused after halftime and dominated at both ends.

Impressive stuff.

DWhite tough day shooting but what a win! This team is incredibly likable.

8 straight!!!

If you look at scoring options 2, 3, and 4 -- all had bad shooting nights. But 10 point win.

White great on D not so good today on O.

Yeah, 2-10 from 3pt is not going to cut it. Way too many 3’s for someone that is shooting 31% from deep. Either needs to shoot better from 3 or start taking midrange/shots in the paint.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

No surprise there. You have been posting like a USPS sorting machine. One might call it stat padding  ;)

watched on tape delay.  today's hot takes:
- big second half by Tatum.  needed him to get untracked because the team's offense was crap.
- JB had second straight game where his head was up his butt.  a lot of bad/dumb plays.
- White was ok.
- Smart made some really big plays.
- Timelord is just continuing his growth this season.  fantastic to see his development.
- PP is not the answer at back up PG (at least this season)

big picture take: biggest need this offseason is shooting.  pure and simple.  too much reliance on Tatum and Brown to both have good games to have a good chance of winning.   White's showing to be a nice addition but he's one guy that we need to produce as much as JRich and Schroder and that's asking too much.

Celtics win their next game against Philly and they could be looking at 15 straight by the time they face Memphis in early March.

They would also be only a game out from Philly for 5th place.

Funny thing is people nationally are drooling all over Embiid for MVP for Philly's success(but would be 5th in East one game in front of Boston), but have been so critical of Boston overall all year.

So if Boston streaks the rest of the year and ends up in 3rd place or higher with 50 or more wins, will Tatum get some MVP love, because he sure would deserve it.

And Ime for Coach of the Year, too?!?! Boy that would sure go up some poster's behinds here, that's for sure.

They were good shots mostly. He's got to take them to keep the defense honest.

Got to get Theis and a decent buyout soon. Basically a 7 man rotation -- PP the 8th guy playing 10 minutes.   I'd so love to see Payton jump in and hit a couple 3's.  He's capable and once he does I think his confidence will carry over.

Of course also wish that Nesmith could provide something.  Not expecting anything from him this year, but  it would make a nice addition if he could put in 10-15 reliable minutes.

Nice win. Defense tightened up in 2nd half. Jayson is a bad man!

I would suggest that on the current team we should no longer think of PP as a PG. They need a shooting guard so they need him to fill that role. So far it hasn't been happening.

It's pretty exciting to get a win by 10 against an Eastern conference rival and still point to multiple guys that could have played better.
