Regardless of how ugly this game is :]

DET 29.5 FG%.

Cs up 15 at the half even with JT having a subpar game so far.

I hate it when JT or JB over dribbles. It just kills our momentum. It also leads to unforced turnovers.

Yeah and they both did it alot in the 2nd quarter. Ruins the offensive flow.

Good half, but Tatum’s jawing a rather irritating. He deserved a tech.  Just settle down Mr. All-Star and beat these chumps.

It would help if they set other teammates up more often

I absolutely love our defense. I don't care how ugly a game is, if defensive schemes are fundamental and tough-nosed, I love watching it.

Did you know that the Celtics lead the NBA in opponents assists per game? That means the Celtics are constantly forcing opponents to go one-on-one and take lower quality shots.

I have to say he's not getting calls.  At least 3 missed

It’s a 2-3 zone but they have to switch onto drivers and then recover. Hard work.

Oh wow. Smart banging their C off the spot there. Crazy.

nice start. i like smart driving for shots more than taking a lot of 3 pointers.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

The C’s defense is overwhelming the Pistons. Plus refs are calling a physical game too. Like Tatum has been to the line 0 times, despite touching the paint many times. The Pistons have been to the line 4 times and that’s with 2 techs to help them.
