Langford is just not an NBA player

Not sure why you’d say that tonight. He’s actually done some good things tonight - 3/4 from the field and good on-ball defense.

man we just can't take care of the ball
lots wrong, but mostly charlotte is working harder and forcing their way to the basket more. celtics are lazy and lifeless.

lots of time left to go, but celtics have to play with more energy for sure.

Agreed. His offense is just too bad. No matter how useful his D is it is still not enough to make up for how bad his offense is.

We're chucking threes, but to be honest the vast majority of them have been open and good looks. We're just an awful shooting team.

sometimes we just need to fake the 3 and drive the ball.  we had good success in the 1st quarter going inside.  I don't know why we changed what we are doing?
because it would have been the smart thing to do and took effort.  2 things we don't excel in.

nope, team trademark.
- lose the ball on dribbles either via strips or just plain old losing control
- careless, lazy passes that are picked off or bobbled when caught
- jacking up bad shots early in the shot clock that result in rebounds for opposition fast breaks.

You forgot missing open 3s...

Why do you say that now?  He rebounds, plays defense and can shoot.

If I was an opposing coach, I would literally just play zone against the Cs. Cs would be so screwed. Cs must be easily the worst shooting team in the league.

His offense tonight is good.

3-4 so far and was effective on offense.  not sure what game you guys are watching.  perhaps he'd have more points if his teammates weren't chucking 3 point bricks and passed a bit more

Yeah, no. He can’t shoot. You know it’s a problem when you are celebrating 3/4 from the field from a 3rd year player. The bar is that low with him.  And clearly he can’t inbound the ball either.

was including that in jacking up bad shots --> if you're having a crappy shooting night, bricking open 3's is bad shot.  take a closer shot.  my philosophy has always been a made 2 is worth more than a missed 3.  heresy with Brad and Ime though

I agree. One made 2 is worth more than 8 missed 3s.

In a nutshell -- that's it.   Might be why they get good looks.
