What a tale of two halves.  The youngins really need to play.

Second half was actually enjoyable basketball.  I’d love to see that team more often.

Played with pace. Defense causing turnovers And good transition ball (haven’t seen in forever!) and got back on defense to stop transition. Once the Pellies were forced to play 1/2 court they were in trouble.

Yes…for a whole bunch of reasons.

So they’ll be ready for the rest of the season and develop as players.

So our starters don’t get buried and burnt.

Wake up, Ime?

Nesmith brought a lot of energy. Glad to see him get meaningful time.

Agree….Hope Ime listens to you.

Postgame they called Nesmith “Crash” after his dunk from Tatums feed and he got fouled and hit the padding.
Crash is the nickname his teammates bestowed upon him last year. It hasn't been used on Celtic fansites, but it is his nickname, not Nessie or some of the other stuffed seen on this board.

The youngins were in during the first half when it went really bad.  Romeo, Pritchard, and Nesmith all on the floor together might have been a youngin too many.

Great. Send them to Maine. Otherwise, they need to play great from second 1 that they are in the game. That is their job. Their job isn't to take 5 minutes of playing time before starting to play well. And it's going to be that way for their careers, even when they start.

Eh. I disagree. Their minutes are too inconsistent to expect the player to be consistent, particularly Nesmith. I imagine it's hard to step into a game and be hot from 3 after 4 or 5 straight DNP-CD's.

I just wonder what Nesmith would look like if he played for Spo or Popp. This organization is tapped out from a cap perspective and we're all out of extra draft capital. It's best bet to take the next step is internal development.

So you give them a second and if they don't produce yank them? Shouldn't you hold "The Starters" to the same standard?
