For all the griping that sometimes goes on here, Celtics are 6-3 in their last 9 just had a nice comeback win versus best team in the East.

well things were going pretty well until that Philly game when we just sucked...
this team has the ability to ruin your confidence in them with a game like that
If before the Philly game you told me the team would go 1-1 in the two games versus two of the better teams in the conference, I would have been okay with that. Their next 7 games are all VERY winnable. Let's see where they are on Feb 1st.

These guys showed a lot of poise down the stretch tonight. Even after that horrible out of time out play at the end. Great recovery and maturity.

Schröder also had a good game, for a guy who has been getting hit hard on this site.

Yeah I am hoping we can build some rhythm and cohesion against some of these lesser teams too.
no matter what, good to beat the bulls tonight (no matter who they are missing)

can't remember the last time this season they fought back for a win.  I know they've done it but it's been so long I can't remember it

Chicago has an edge to them shows how good of a team they are.

They have the C’s scrambling on defense with their drive and kick game and getting offensive rebounds when they aren’t draining it.

Celts start bumbling and fumbling on offense when this happens. They frequently look rattled when opposing teams make runs.

Hopefully they can sustain this run.

They did well by swooping on Donovan once he left OKC. I really wanted him for the Cs. A tough minded disciplinarian. He was gritty even as a player for Providence.

Teams typically take on the personality of the Head Coach and lead player.

Which is why they’re a well coached, scrappy team and while the Celtics have the symptoms of a shell shocked team.

Yeah, KG talks about this in that interview on All The Smoke.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2heygSelm4A

Recommended watch, super fun.

Didn't know KG went "you gotta keep Rondo" before coming to Boston!

But the point is; he talks a lot about mentality, playing hard, etc. Nobody on the C's has that I reckon - maybe JRich?

I watch all KG content. Great stories, great storyteller, and he quickly became my favorite Celtic.

Aside from the playing hard part, which is important, great coaches know instill certainty through their preparation and coaching. Ime has to get to that point or we have to move on.

This was a gutsy win by this team. Brown is turning in to the best option in clutch situations, he just shouldn’t be allowed to dribble more than twice in them because his handle isn’t secure enough for those situations, yet.

Let’s hope this is the start of better times ahead. I thought for sure they would give up after Chicago went up by 6. It’s great to see this team eke out a gutsy win for a change.

We also won despite Tatum and Brown going a combined 1-10 from three point range. What's with their downward trend in 3pt percentage this season? Are they just taking poorer shots from that range?

Nah, mostly missing wide open ones.
