Throw a Rob Williams for Anunoby trade proposal. See if Toronto like Rob more than they like Myles Turner.

I guess it depends what you want. Anunoby is already a 19/5/2 wing with elite wing defence, and is still 24. However, he's been pretty injured the last couple of seasons. If Jalen Duren falls to us in the draft I'd do this trade, but I do think Williams is really coming into his own as a super low-usage high-efficiency defensive specialist.

I'm a fan of Anunoby, but I have a few qualms with him as a player, especially thinking he would be a good fit on this team.

First, I don't think his offensive game is very advanced or every will be very advanced. I may be wrong here, but whenever I've watched him, I see a high-level 3d player, ala Jerami Grant when he played for the Nuggets.

Second, when did he get the reputation as an elite defender? I don't see that when I watch him. The idea of Anunoby as an elite defender has always been there, but the actual on-court play is different. He's never made an all-defensive team. Admittedly, he had some votes last year, but when I watch the Celtics play him, it doesn't seem like his on-ball defense affects either Tatum or Brown, and his weakside defense isn't strong either.

The only type of player the Cs should target is a high-level distributor that can control a game and offense.

His offensive production is currently ala Jerami Grant on the Pistons, except Toronto are above .500, so I'm a bit confused by that comparison.

I personally think his elite defensive attributes are his versatility and his strength. Last season he was particularly strong on that end, but he has regressed in that area a bit this season - maybe due to taking on more offensive responsibility.
