Sue Bird.
What about active WNBA players?
Where does Jonquel Jones slot among 500ish NBA players?

I don’t think an WBNA player makes the top 500, but realistically, these emergency signings aren’t going to be contributing much.  I’d like to see something historic.
So is the first female NBA player historic or a novelty?

If it happened under these circumstances, probably more of a novelty, to start but if a woman could play well given the opportunity they could make it historic.  That said, it would probably be more meaningful for a woman to make a team through camp.
I picked Jonquel because she is reining MVP. What about a specialist. Someone shoots 2-4 from three for 3 games in a row. We've anointed potential on less.

Give me Ricky Davis!!!

TP

I was going to add him, then couldn't think of his name and was too lazy to do the research.  I had the visual though!  He had a fun streych for the Celts.
Yup

Turner would be unsurprising. A Sully comeback would be cool, and he may actually be able to stick around given his relative youth.

Funny to see Billups’ name thrown about. So many folks on here do not seem to pay attention to the WC.

If he has kept in shape turner is better than a lot of people that have been signed.

I just threw him in there because he’s still so young.

In all fairness, Antoine Walker was born for this era of the NBA. He was a few decades too early.

This is like the old days of the WWF when they had a flow of past greats and not so greats running out from the locker room each week.
