Imagine being a head coach for 27 games and still thinking that a backcourt of the brick brothers Smart and Schroeder is a better than giving PP and Nesmith, two guys that can actually shoot the ball some run. Unreal…
Pritchard is shooting threes worse than Schröder and Smart is shooting threes better than Nesmith so far this year.
I mean when you don’t get consistent mins it’s hard to be consistent… they proved last year that they can be spark plugs and make a difference. Smart/Schroder brick brothers backcourt isn’t working, I’d rather see those guys get reps.
You want to bench two way better players and make the team worse, just to see if a couple of 2nd year players can hit threes more if you give them more minutes?
Yeah, count me out on that. When they can show they can come in and hit threes from the moment they get in a game(like Grant has done), then give them more minutes. Until that time, they need to sit.
