And for the Smart haters - notice that Smart was the only one on the floor diving for that ball. Timelord could've had it if he would've dove and got on the floor, but he didn't.
Smart's shot selection can be frustrating and it'd be nice if he offered more shooting and scoring, but there's a reason Boston loves him and keeps him around even despite these issues.
Him in a vacuum isn't necessarily a problem for most (it's a problem for me), but the money he's on for what he does is outrageous
I do agree that he's going to be getting paid more than I'm comfortable with starting next year, but from what the league is offering those types of players, he was going to be getting that somewhere.
Hopefully he'll have a Lowry-esque jump in his abilities - or at least shooting abilities - later in his career.
